We are proud of our charity and all that our members achieve with and through the opportunities our youth offer provides. We work together as a team to communicate and share these achievements with a range of networks and supporters, but we know there is considerable untapped potential to amplify our work even further and to showcase our impact so that the value of youth work is never in doubt. We are super excited that this potential has been recognised, and with funding from the OnSide Foundation Impact Fund, are in a position to invest specifically in a communications and engagement role.

We’ve made a start, enlisting the support of a Director of Communications for a focused period of time in order to develop and set our Communications Strategy, optimise our systems and establish a methodology and tone of voice for are public and professional interfaces. Now, we are ready to turn up the volume and pace, and are seeking a creative, dynamic and mission driven individual to join us in the role of Communications and Engagement Manager and mobilise our plans. This is a unique role which will see you pivoting 360° amongst our key audiences; working with young people to safely establish a presence on platforms such as TikTok; curating content from across our delivery to show Patrons and supporters how their investment is making a direct difference; utilising data and narrative to articulate compelling impact stories; and ensuring the visibility and presence of CYZ within the sector grows and remains strong. You might be looking for your first professional communications role and/or ready to step up and lead; we are open minded about what past experience someone may bring, and are focused on the ideas, skills and enthusiasm to deliver what we want to achieve.
