Carlisle Youth Zone (CYZ) is thrilled to announce a new youth photography competition in celebration of Youth Work Week, supported by our partners at Carlisle Business Supplies. The competition, themed “Your View”, invites people aged 7 to 25 across Carlisle to capture and share their unique perspectives through the art of photography.
Theme: “Your View”
The competition theme is designed to encourage young photographers to capture an image that reflects what they see or believe in. “Whether it’s the view from your window or something you feel connected to, your walk to school, or even your own reflection – whatever speaks to you, take a photo and submit, it’s that easy!”.
The theme encourages creativity, self-reflection, and community connection, aligning with Youth Work Week’s message, The Art of Youth Work, which celebrates the powerful role youth work plays in nurturing young people’s creativity and self-expression.
How to Enter
Entries are open from 4th November until 10th November. The process is simple—snap a photo (or submit up to 5) that fits the theme and submit it here for a chance to win exciting prizes!

- 2nd Prize: High street vouchers
The winners will be announced shortly after the submission deadline.
